Rinkadink Pink

Anyways, last night, Charlie and I went to see Pink with the tickets she bought me for my birthday (Charlie, not Pink). Despite not being hugely up for it, we were soon in the mood after Pink's opening number (Cos I Can) and she got better and better as the night went on. I've always been a fan of Pink (more looks wise than anything else) but she definitely knows how to sing and can put on a show. Great night in summary and you can check out the photos from the evening here. I'm also going to try and put up some videos if I can work out how to reduce the size of them (they're Quicktime files.. bit of a bugger)

We also bought Alfie a new cage at the weekend. I say cage, I mean large Adventure Zone with crazy tubes and fifteen bedrooms*

If you ever go to The Works in Kingston, do not clap in time with the beat if there are more than five of you. This can cause some patrons to lose their minds.

I'll set the scene for the above video for you. It's a week before the Brockham bonfire, and Chris, the star of the show, had been helping to put up fencing. Having completed his fencing work, he couldn't be bothered to walk all the way round to the entrance, so decided he would jump over. Charlie, seeing the blatant stupidity in his idea, decided to film him. Glad she did now!

So anyway, how are all of you? I've been busy since our last update. Brockham bonfire was great fun. All the organisation and planning that Tony and the Brockhamites put in was well worth it and a great evening/early morning was had by all.

Charlie and I went to Stamford Bridge to watch the blues destroy Villa last night, 4-0 in the Carling Cup. I also met up with Vicki Kerr, who I hadn't seen since I was about 15. Very odd, but great to see her again and meet her boyfriend Frank Lampard.

Hmm other news? Ooo, work are flying me and Charlie to New York for the Christmas party over there. We're staying in the 5 star Four Seasons , so we'll feel hugely out of place, but it'll be great fun.

Other than that, there isn't much to report. Out on Friday night in Kingston for my birthday, all of you are welcome (unless of course there are weird stabby men who read this and want to stab me, in which case we're going to Aberdeen and it's Saturday night).

Urmm.. don't think I have any other news for any of you. Hi to Clem, Tori, Sam, Ben J and Aidan, who I've recently found on Bebo. I had no idea Bebo existed until a week ago, and now I've found all sorts of crazy long lost people on there. It's great!

Oh wait, just a quick rant. What is wrong with you people who say "ta" instead of "thanks" or "cheers"? Is your life so full to the brim that you have to save time by reducing a one syllable word to just two letters? I'm not your pet dog, so Caroline, who works in WHSmiths, don't "ta" me when I give you money in exchange for a magazine. Why not shorten your name from Caroline to just "Bint", that would save you a whole two syllables in your precious, time preserving world.
