Today was the day of much geekiness and nerdiness. Last night, I picked up the shiny beast to the left of this text. Yes folks, the beautiful PS3 is now mine. I don't have any games for it, but had a great time playing the "Menu game" for a few hours before bed. Then, this morning, more geekiness was present in abundance as I travelled to Game in Sutton to pick up my Nintendo Wii pre-order. There were about 40 people in the queue when I arrived, all brimming with excitement and dweebiness. One chap actually said "I've booked the day off work today, I'm just gonna play this 'til my head Spazzes out." I'm guessing he won't have to play too long.
Anyway, after about 30 minutes in the rain, I picked up the Wii, three games, and extra classic controller and an extra "Wiimote" and "Nunchuck" and headed back to bed. For those who care, the games were Zelda, Wii Play and Rayman: Raving Rabbids. It also came with Wii Sports, obviously.
In other news, we're off out tonight for the IT team's chrimbo meal at Gaucho grill. I then have to hurry home to bed as Charlie and I leave for NYC at 5 tomorrow morning. We're off to the New York Christmas party at work and we have a few days shopping time too. (So I can get some new trainers and a few PS3 games - hurrah!)
Right - best get back to work. Speak to you all soon homies.
